【NEWS】能登の里山里海を英語で紹介する冊子を発行

石川県に訪れる外国人が増えていますね。最近は金沢から足をのばしたり、のと里山空港を利用して能登に訪れる方もたくさんいます。日本の原風景が残る能登の里山里海は、旅慣れた外国人観光客にも魅力的な場所なのではないかと思います。
そんな外国人観光客の皆さんに、能登の里山里海を楽しんでもらうために、能登の魅力をコンパクトにまとめた英語版の冊子を世界農業遺産活用実行委員会（石川県里山振興室内）が作成しました。能登の概要や見どころ、文化のほか、2泊3日でゆったりめぐるモデルプランも紹介しています。サイズは持ち歩きやすいA5判、12頁です。

Booklet on Noto’s Satoyama and Satoumi Now Available in English

More and more people have been visiting Ishikawa from overseas, and recently, many people are visiting more than just Kanazawa — lots of people are visiting the surrounding areas, and making use of Noto Satoyama Airport. We believe that this is because of Noto’s Satoyama and Satoumi, the rich local natural environments on both land and sea. The uniquely pristine, old-fashioned rural Japanese environment of the region makes the Noto Peninsula an enticing destination, even for well-traveled visitors from overseas.
To help make it easier for travelers to enjoy Noto’s Satoyama and Satoumi, Ishikawa Prefecture has prepared a compact booklet to quickly and effectively show off the appeal of Noto, in English. Readers can enjoy a brief overview of Noto, including beautiful scenic highlights and glimpses into the unique local culture, as well as an example three-day, two-night itinerary for a comfortably paced visit to Noto. At just twelve A5 pages in size, the booklet is conveniently travel-sized, too.
